Who is Britany Felix?

Hi, I’m Britany.

I’m just your average Schitt’s Creek-loving, paranormal investigating, wanderlusting, Harry Potter nerd.

I also happen to be obsessed with podcasts.

A few years ago (2015), I was working in the humdrum corporate world. I longed to travel the world and hated being stuck under fluorescent lighting all day. On a wild whim, I thought podcasting might be my ticket out of there.

I’ve never been so right about something.

I found myself in a whirlwind of editing and consulting new podcasters in launching their own shows. Two years later? I sold off my first podcast. Five years later? I’m more successful and, more importantly, far happier than I ever was in the corporate world.

Turns out, this was my dream job all along.

After all, I get to help coaches and consultants just like you develop their business on the most effective platform available. It’s like I get to be a small part of a ripple effect of real change in the world and that feels so damn satisfying.

And, more selfishly, I get to live my life how the hell I want to.

I can travel wherever I want, whenever I want.

(If you ever get the chance, I highly suggest

getting your butt to the Scottish Highlands.)

And when I want to slow down, I can still work from home in my pj’s.

It’s the very definition of the freedom I craved while working in the corporate world.

Meet My Loves

My husband Bryan and I met in college and spent two years as best friends before finally admitting there was more between us. He officially asked me to be his girlfriend in the last line of a poem he wrote and taped inside a card on Valentines Day 2007 and we were married in 2011.

In 2009 we adopted our first pup, Lorelei, and she was my baby all the way until we lost her in June 2022. Our other pup, Clara, has had Bryan wrapped around her paw since the day we brought her from the animal rescue I volunteered with in 2014. We were only supposed to foster her, but you see how that worked out.

My Travels

I’ve always had a passion for travel but, unfortunately, working in the corporate world didn’t allow me to travel all that often and almost never out of the country. However, since leaving the corporate world, I’ve been able to …

Spend a month in Bali, take a solo trip to Thailand, travel to Ireland for the weekend just to visit the Titanic museum, spend two weeks in Scotland (including 5 days on a guided tour of the Highlands) soaking up the beautiful landscapes and visiting filming locations for one of my all-time favorite tv shows (Outlander) and riding the actual Hogwarts Express, take a Mediterranean cruise with high school friends, visit ancient ruins and go to the top of an active volcano in Italy, lay on pink sand beaches on a Greek island, visit the Harry Potter studios in London, celebrate my 10-year wedding anniversary at an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean with a team of personal butlers catering to our every whim, and rekindle my love for Paris (Bryan and I went on our honeymoon there and I fell in love with it) ... just to name a few.
